a question about my a Bosch 11536C-1 36 Volt Lithium Ion Compact Rotary Hammer Drill.?
I just recently purchased a Bosch 11536C-1 36 Volt Lithium Ion Compact Rotary Hammer Drill. I’ve used it to drill approximately 25 – 30 holes so far. The last time that I removed the drill bit, the “inside the drill” end came out from where it attaches to the drill with a considerable amount of oil or grease on it. This has never happened before, what does this mean?

This machine, and all SDS hammer/impact drills should have some grease in the chuck to keep it lubricated. Bosch make a special grease for this purpose, as do Hilti, DeWatl etc. You probably noticed it more after continuous use as the chuck would be warm, and the grease has melted a bit.
